Fighting to Save our NHS from profiteers
999 Convention for the NHS was a day for all NHS campaigners, activists, trade unions and concerned citizens to join in unity and plan strategies to fight for a publicly funded non-fragmented and privatised NHS.
It was an opportunity to plan & coordinate national days of action in the run up to the General Election, putting the NHS at the centre of political discussion and preparing the ground for the fight beyond the election results. Discussions took place with key figures from other organisations including KONP, National Health Action Party, and local NHS campaign groups up and down the country.
We want to say a big thank you to all those who registered and came to the invited only event.
Thanks from all the 999 Team.
999 Call for the NHS is proud to be an independent grassroots campaign group and non-affiliated with any political party. Our speakers reflected this position and were all leaders in their fields of campaign work. They offered inside information and insights into the current situation faced by all dedicated NHS campaigners.
