Campaigners in two very different parts of the country are celebrating more of those small step BUT very important victories.
Hands off Huddersfield HRI in Yorkshire were at Leeds Court on the 15th March to see if their appeal for a Judicial Review would be granted and the judge agreed their case should be heard.
In Dorset, campaigners in Poole fought hard to push for a Judicial Review into the closure of maternity services.
Thanks to a tweet by Caroline Molloy (Open Democracy) we were alerted to a Private members Bill sponsored by Conservative MP, Charles Chode who has been described as a manipulator of the system by his filibustering and introducion of PMBs to block others out.
We think this needs highlighting at all levels and requires MPs across the board to oppose this bill which seeks to give approval to patients having to pay co-payments - totally going aginst the core founding principles of the NHS - universal, comprehensive & free at the point of delivery.
