999 Call for the NHS exists to stop and reverse NHS cuts and sell offs, and to restore the NHS as a publicly owned, funded, run and provided health service that is free at the point of need and provides the full range of care and treatments to everyone, based on their clinical need.
We are now convinced that the key to solving our NHS (deliberately manufactured) Crisis is understanding how the philosophy of economic Austerity with its very simplistic messages of
NOT ENOUGH MONEY
TIGHTEN OUR BELTS
TAX BEFORE YOU SPEND
has wrecked this country and many others around the world. What's worse it's also wrecked lives and as the ashes of Grenfell Tower now subside we can see clearly that Austerity decision making - based on low valuation of public services but high regard for private profit - Austerity is literally killing people.
These articles below are our attempt to begin to understand the full extent of the false propaganda that has infected the political system, the academic system and managed to warp the economic mindset of so many.
Thankfully there are economists now who are finding their voice to question the Austerity regime that stems from the USA Corporate sector. The creation of money, how an economy works... these are the things we as ordinary people are going to have to get our heads round. Once you do it's easy to see we can afford a publicly run NHS.
We've got a simple message for
all your MPs
We call on you as MPs to say no
to Accountable Care Organisations in the NHS that would turn it into a version of the American Medicare/Medicaid system.

This is the result of the successful philosophy that has seeped into our society and daily lives. Allowing the belief that PUBLIC SERVICE IS BAD and PRIVATE SECTOR KNOW BETTER to become the mantra of the many.
Need proof? Look no further. Warning: you will be shocked.

We campaign for social care to be fully publicly funded and provided and available to all who need it in order to live independent decent lives - not just as “a means-tested privatised, residual service for those with substantial needs”.
This requires adequate funding. But none of the three main parties’ 2017 Manifestos commited to this...
Taking a fresh look at the economic myths and lies that have been spun since the 1980s leading us and politians down the wrong path and creating hardship and distress in ordinary people's lives.
We can afford public services.
We just need the politicians to stop lying.
The 2017 General Election raised one major issue for us - all the 3 main parties have failed us. They are locked into the so-called "Austerity" philosophy of hardship and restraint that is excusing poor and corrupt political behaviour.
Why are giving corporations welfare and cutting public services?
People around the country are literally dying yet we are still obsessed with keeping the corporations happy! They can bloody well look after themselves.
